The Chapel of St Faith was given for the use of the Order of the British Empire in 1961. There was a chapel with the same name in the Old St Paul's, which was occupied by the parishioners of a church which had been demolished in the thirteenth century in order to allow the east end of that cathedral to be extended. The Chapel can seat 350 people and is used by the Cathedral for services where small numbers of people will be attending. Weddings, baptisms and other services take place here regularly throughout the year.
